Celebrating Pride Month with 'Queer Spaces'!

It's Pride Month 2022 and we were delighted to celebrate its first day by holding an BookshopLATES... event for the new RIBA book 'Queer Spaces: An Atlas of LGBTQIA+ Places and Stories'!

Editors Adam Nathaniel Furman and Joshua Mardell were joined by Andy Summers (Co-Founder of Architecture Fringe) and architecture student, Johanna Hedenskog. The room was packed and it was fantastic to listen to the conversations afterwards as the books were signed. (We still have some signed copies left in the Bookshop - grab one while you can!)

We are so excited to have started RIASBookshopLATES... and it is a great opportunity to open our doors to customers, members and friends and welcome them into our beautiful building once again.

Keep an eye on Twitter (@BookshopRIAS) and the website for further events, especially the next one taking place on Wed 22nd June to interview John Barr, author of '20th Century Japan in 20 Buildings'! More details to come soon...

Queer Spaces: An Atlas of LGBTQIA+ Places and Stories’ is available to purchase at £40 here.
